To keep donors engaged in the era of virtual events, the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) needed standout creative for their annual fundraiser. Instead of ignoring the unprecedented times, we leaned into what it meant for MOCSA's mission.
The concept for the event promotion leans on duality – that of masks both physical and figurative, lights and shadows, things seen and unseen, what’s heard versus what’s silenced. We confronted the truth of rising violence at home in a way that resonated with supporters and garnered donations.
/ Insight
The unthinkable truth is that many survived more than COVID-19 during lockdowns. And they now wear a mask that can’t be seen or taken off: the mask of a survivor.
